The fun and excitement on the water or off is abundant in southwest Montana. In the last several days we have had several groups of locals: Anaconda, Georgetown Lake, Drummond, Maxville, Hall, Philipsburg, Princeton, and Missoula visit the Boulder Creek Lodge for breakfast or dinner.

New Sign for Boulder Creek Lodge.... finally

A new frontage sign for our new resort Boulder Creek Lodge finally arrived.  It has been difficult not having purchased the resort till May 16 and still hoping for a successful summer. From what I have learned that the summer-time traveling public generally plans 2 - 3 months in advance for RV parking, cabin rental and tenting options and for that reason we have many vacancies.

The good news however is that our road sign really looks sharp and our food has been great and what guests we have had....have been 100% happy.  

As the sign says we are the premier Cabin Rental, RV Park, Tent Camping and Special Events location in southwest Montana.

The fishing is incredible in this area and we welcome all.

Traditional Annual trip to Boulder Creek Lodge continues for family and friends

Once again the Szalay family and Parkman family have made their annual summer pilgrimage to Boulder Creek Lodge.  Fun and relaxation has been had by all.  The kids have played some volleyball, played on the playground and ran in the sprinkler to cool off in this unseasonable warm weather for Montana.

Both families have joined us for breakfast and dinner each day for delicious meals. During their visit they have kept busy visiting the many highlights of the area including Montana Gems of Philipsburg. Both families have however saved the biggest and most exciting destination for their last day, The Sweet Palace Candy Store in Philipsburg.

It has been very nice to have young kids at the Boulder Creek Lodge.  Not only are these young kids fun to be around, but they are exceptionally polite.

Boy Scouts & Girl Scouts: Some of my fondest memories in my childhood in Rockford, Illinois were scouting (Troop 57 Boy Scout of America). A life long goal has been to own and operate a guest/dude ranch or resort in the "Out West".  That goal has been realized in the purchase of the Boulder Creek Lodge in Hall, Montana.

Boulder Creek Lodges' first week of being open for business progresses nicely.

It's been a fun filled week of fun at the Boulder Creek Lodge.  We have had some pretty incredible retired local gentlemen stop over and successfully helped bring back to life a rather beat up and abused garden tractor.

We have discovered that the folks and business owners of Philipsburg are great supporters of our business both with the posting of our breakfast and dinner posters, eating at our restaurant for both breakfast and dinner but also delivering beautiful welcome flowers.

As much as we planned for the opening of the Boulder Creek Lodge we sadly missed the boat and failed to allot enough time to compensate for bad weather that grounded a UPS Flight and the tardy delivery of our new business sign for out front of the resort. What was supposed to be a 2 day delivery has now turned into 7 days. :-(

Dinner Menu at Boulder Creek Lodges Boulder Cafe a very well received by dinner guests.

Since Jennifer and I purchased the Boulder Creek Lodge in SW Montana one of our major concerns centered around putting together breakfast and dinner menus that would be well received by our restaurant guests.

With the exceptional assistance of our Chef Natalie McCloskey our worries of selecting the best starting food offerings have been met and exceeded. While we were not sold out for breakfast or dinner yesterday (our first day of restaurant) the guests we did get were incredibly patient of our first day challenges and thoroughly enjoyed their dining experience.

We were quite pleased to host many supportive entrepreneurs representing local businesses. Charity and her entire family from the ChariTea's Coffee & Treats/Woodland Creations & Home Center, 
and Ed and his wife from Back Creek Pottery just to mention a couple were some of our first night restaurant guests.

Today, Wednesday June 17, 2015 we welcomed our first breakfast guests at our dream-come-true establishment the Boulder Creek Lodge.  Natalie our Chef cooked an amazing menu this morning for Ed, Gordon, Louis and Bernetta. The Boulder Platter, a made to order omelet and biscuits and gravy were the items of choice.  Breakfast hours are 7:00 - 10:00 Wednesday thru Sunday.  Dinner hours will be 4:30 - 8:00 Wednesday thru Sunday.  Come enjoy the atmosphere and wonderful food!

Boulder Creek Lodge Montana is Open for Business

June 15, 2015 and Boulder Creek Lodge Montana is open for business. We welcomed our first tent camper and several RV's over the weekend.  It is so exciting to hear laughter and fun happening in our resort!

We have spent the week cleaning and opening all 10 cabins for rental.  The place is really starting to shine. We have welcomed our new chef, Natalie McCloskey who has single-handedly organized the kitchen, ordered the food and helped design our new menu.  We will be open for breakfast and dinner starting this Wednesday, June 17th.  Food will be served Wednesday - Sunday with Wednesday being Boulder Burger night and Prime Rib offered on Friday and Saturday night.  Come check it out.

The gift shop is taking shape offering chilled beverages and ice cream treats.  Gift items include a great assortment of "Cowboy Collection" jewelry and ornaments, made in Montana, tshirts and sweatshirts, and Boulder Creek Lodge Montana Soy Candles in both mason jars and apothecary jars.

Artwork created by the renowned artist, Donna Volk is on display throughout the lodge and is available for purchase.  We also feature smaller prints, gift-cards and picture boxes of her work in the gift shop.

It's exciting,... come to eat.... come to stay.... come to relax and enjoy this beautiful setting in southwest Montana.

Boulder Creek Lodge www.bouldercreeklodgemontana.com is the new vacation destination for RV and Camper travelers this summer. Located on the beautiful Scenic By-way between Philipsburg, Montana and Drummond, Montana.

RV and Campers will not only have a choice of full or partial hookups but also a wide variety of breathtaking and beautiful locations to pitch a tent or use a popup camper.

A shower-house, laundry and bathrooms are available to our guests.  We invite our visitors to join us for breakfast or dinner but also perhaps a pre-arranged sack lunch prepared just for you.

Catering for special events like reunions or weddings are also welcome at the Boulder Creek Lodge.

Marketing Progress

Outstanding Monday: Substantial progress was made today in our goal of minimizing the very late start in marketing at www.bouldercreeklodgemontana.com. Sadly we were forced to accept a late marketing start given our purchase date of May 15th.

Today I was able to get the BCL listed on the Philipsburg Chamber of Commerce and the Visit Philipsburg web site.  I am really excited about the elevated presence on Twitter @BoulderCreekLdg.
