Wanted Bloggers: Travel, RV, Camping & Vacation focus

The importance and impact of social media and specifically blogging to a start up small business is critical to a successful business. The power and reach of bloggers is profound, immediate and of a magnitude seldom realized in marketing.

As owner of the Boulder Creek Lodge - Montana I would invite #travelbloggers  #rvbloggers #Camping #RVPark #CabinRental #huntingbloggers #fishingbloggers #mountainbikebloggers to visit the Boulder Creek Lodge.

Given the above statement I realize just how much I must learn regarding the do's and don'ts of blogging.

The Boulder Creek Lodge in Hall, Montana is a life long dream realized. For the last 16 years I taught high school in northern Illinois. Since March 31, 2008 when my life changed dramatically (The Widow Maker Heart Attack at age 48), I have pursued the life long dream of owning a business in Colorado, Wyoming or Montana with determination and conviction.

My wife and I purchased the Boulder Creek Lodge on May 15, opened the resort on June 15, and now 6 weeks into ownership, I am convinced that the blogger world does in fact have a very special subject (The Boulder Creek Lodge in southwest Montana).

I strongly believe the younger population as well as the older traveling population RV camping, Tent Camping, and Cabin Relaxation travelers seek great stories they can emotionally connect.  The average traveler given the opportunity to become a cast member or participant in the positive story will do so with enthusiasm.

The average tourist, traveler given their choice would happily support American Small Business or Free Enterprise way of life given the chance.

"The Official Home of Glamping" is waiting for your visit to southwest Montana

Glamping (Glamorous Camping) describes perfectly the glamping/rental cabin opportunities at the Boulder Creek Lodge in southwest Montana.  The word Glamping is a relatively new term that metaphorically describes those that love to travel, but do not necessarily enjoy the idea of "roughing it" with no bathrooms or showers. BTW, did I mention that Beer & Wine are an official addition to the glamping vernacular?

I am not sure where the person was glamping at the time he or she coined the word glamping. Because no one that I know of has actually claimed being "The Official Home of Glamping", for now I will claim that it is in fact Boulder Creek Lodge is the Official Home of Glamping.

Our ten glamping/rental cabins are clean, comfortable, and key to the Home of Glamping. They are in very close proximity to shower, bathroom, coin laundry facilities, and RV Park. Roughing-it campsites are located next to the beautiful Boulder Creek.

In addition to being the Official Home of Glamping our resort extends the idea of glamping to an entirely new level as we offer both chef prepared breakfast and dinner menu everyday but Tuesday.

A heart attack can impact anyone, anywhere, anytime...even on vacation.

No one knows when they can be impacted by the arrival of a life changing or lending experience of suffering a heart attack.  Sadly, speaking from first person, the difference from life or death can be the distance from the victim to an AED.  Boulder Creek Lodge will now have a 24/7 accessible AED in the lower level of our lodge.

As a heart attack survivor myself having an AED on site was not only a need but a requirement. I have spoken with Granite County Medical Center and they welcome the addition of an AED installed in Maxville vicinity.

It's Official... Retirement Letter to District 205 in Rockford, Illinois has been emailed

I remember the day when I started my first job as a paper boy in Rockford, Illinois and thinking about how loooonnnnngggg it would be before I was old enough to retire. I remember wondering what life would be like by the time it was time to retire. I never imagined the evolution of cell phones, computers or electric cars.

I have worked, enjoyed and learned from  many jobs and businesses started along the career pathway. Dunkin Donuts, The Last Straw (where I met my incredible wife), Mc Donalds, Radio Shack, Lunde Truck Sales, The Pride of Rockford, The Good Times Theater, YMCA, Red Lobster, Camcar Textron, Pacific Bearing and finally the Rockford School District as a teacher for that last 16+ years.
Today I have sent my official retirement letter to the Rockford School District.  The ride with the district has been fun, educational, and rewarding in many, many ways. The current administration has made the last several years the best in all 16 years of teaching.

As a business and technology teacher for the last 16 years I have taught all my students to find a job/career that they love, do it better than anyone else. Make it a goal to find that career/job is one that can not be exported or automated. Now at 55 years old I have decided to follow what I have been teaching and find in retirement my passion that I do not consider work, but living the dream.... Beer and Wine has finally arrived at Boulder Creek Lodge

On May 15, 2015 we purchased the Boulder Creek Lodge in Hall, Montana.  At the time we had all the confidence in the world that our venture would be successful.  We had beautiful cabins for nightly rental, RV sites and camping sites for the weary travelers to relax and to recharge.

The good times and fantastic dinners eaten at the Boulder Restaurant have been exceptional, but up until this evening serving without beer or wine option.

As of today the Boulder Creek Lodge is serving beer and wine during our dinners and to those staying in our cabins, renting RV sites or camping and now the complete experience while staying at the Boulder Creek Lodge is now a done deal.
